Hello & Welcome to
Albion Park Amateur Swimming Club
Albion Park Amateur Swimming Club is a non-profit organistion which exists for the enjoymnet of our members, and was formed in the mid 1960's.
We swim at the Albion Park Pool, in Russell St, during the summer months on Friday nights with races starting at 6pm. We have events for the whole family with a range of events covering 25, 50,100 and 200M. Activities each Friday night consisting of a Freestyle event plus two off strokes which including Butterfly, Backstroke or Breaststroke. We even hold Individual Medley events throughout the season. And don't forget the "Dinosaurs" race at the end of the night for those over 18 years of age.
We cater for all ages and standards of swimmer, from the social swimmer to those who enjoy some fun Competition. Being handicap events everyone has a chance of hitting that line first but the big emphasis is on the pointscore - mainly bettering your own personal times.
For those who enjoy the competition side of swimming we have the Club Championships towards the end of the season. This is where hitting the line first counts and brings out a little of that competitive spirit.
For those who want to compete on a wider scale the Club participates at many Carnivals throughout the year at locations across the state. For more details email the club at albion.parkasc@hotmail.com
